Project Description

The University of Wisconsin-Madison will serve as a Core Partner to the propose WiSys Innovation Engine. Accordingly, the proposed collaborators will support the Engine programming and development by the following activities:

1) Serving as content experts or “Scientists-in-residence” for the proposed regional innovation centers.

2) Expanding partnerships with stakeholders relevant to the Engine (allied industry, government, investors & VCs, non-profit, and academic partners in agriculture, food, technology, and sustainability).

3) Contributing to Engine leadership, management, and assessment functions as needed.

4) Supplying thematic programing for Engine activities.

5) Activities to support and develop use-inspired research in sustainable agriculture, food, technology, and health.

6) Activities in support of workforce development in sustainable agriculture, food, technology, and health.
